Patreons got this review first, as well as all the content The Arena puts out. For early access and to support the work we put in here, check out patreon.com/thearenamedia
Note: To support and read everything early, you need to be at least on the "Nosebleed Section" tier- that's $3 USD (or $5 AUD). Less than a cup of coffee a month to help keep this thing going!

One of the newer promotions in a loaded NSW scene, Integrity Sports Entertainment are doing quite well for themselves. They’ve got a loaded roster and the immense talents of JT Robinson producing the show, I’ve been to a couple of their shows previously and liked what I saw, so now I’m back for more!
Let’s do this!
--------
Match 1: Paris De Silva vs. Aaron Jake
This was incredibly flashy on the part of Paris- no surprise there- and hard hitting on the part of Aaron Jake. A wonderful clash of styles. Early on, Paris looks for a suicide dive that seems set to wipe out the whole front row, but Aaron cuts him off. Aaron brings a gritty striking and stomping attack that really lives up to the Street King moniker. He also works the back with a couple of impressive tilt a whirl backbreakers. But you can’t give a guy like Paris space and opportunity to do his thing, because then he moves at warp speed. The suicide dive does score, and I’m happy to report that no one in the front row died.
Back in the ring, Aaron displays agility with a leaping enziguri, but Paris comes right back with a dropkick that gets a 2 count. Paris hits a frog splash to the back for a great near fall. He then exhibits impressive power by hitting the far larger Aaron with a brainbuster, followed by a beautiful Sky Twister Press for the win!
Winner: Paris De Silva
Thoughts: When this show surfaces online, this match is a must-watch. Incredible opener. By now, you know what you’re getting with Paris De Silva- dazzling athleticism bell to bell. But Aaron Jake has elevated his game massively- from the stellar match with Big Fudge last month at PWA, to this battle that truly had a bit of everything with Paris, Aaron Jake’s star is certainly rising. I continue to be baffled that Paris (& Jude) are not signed to a major company yet, but I’m certainly grateful that we still have them. Setting the bar extremely high for this show!
We have an announcement- there's a tournament to be held to crown the first Integrity Tag Team Champions! According to the on-screen graphic, it’s going to be called the Integrity Tag League, and we have a team entering- CBK! That’s Ben Braxton & Rita Stone, and that’s a hell of a team right there.
Match 2: Big Fudge, Skater Boy Pidgey & Torture vs. Tommy Trigga, David Streamer & Folz Robinson (w/ JT Robinson)
JT is a riot here, seemingly playing the role of the proud dad, being extremely pumped up and excited for Folz while he’s just kinda like, “Stop, Dad... you’re embarrassing me." Trigga & Streamer don’t seem to love JT as much as I do, throwing their entrance attire at him and kinda treating him like a young boy. Rude!
Torture is an odd inclusion on the babyface team, as he’s typically a heel, and doesn’t quite seem on the same page as Fudge and Pidgey. Pidgey gets isolated and beat down for a bit, and when the opportunity arises, Torture doesn’t really seem keen to tag in. Eventually he does though, and he kicks all the ass. The faces get Tommy Trigga all alone and even he seems to know he’s done. Superkick by Pidgey, Chokeslam by Fudge and a Swanton by Torture, back to back to back, and this one’s done!
Winners: Big Fudge, Skater Boy Pidgey & Torture
Thoughts: This was fun. I believe this was the Integrity debut for Fudge, and he was immediately over with the crowd. He was also selling chocolates before the show, which is a good way to win people over. Torture’s odd little babyface turn was explained post-match, as he went to celebrate with a group of kids in footy uniforms- I'm guessing he’s their coach? Big “Torture” chants from them.
Match 3: Integrity Women’s Championship- Eugenie vs. Shay Kassidy (c)
No mic time for Shay pre-match? Feels weird. She gets cheers anyway. Eugenie, much less cheers but she does get some respect from a few in the crowd. She’s been killing it up in Queensland and is getting booked around the country now, which is very cool to see.
This was one of the matches I was most looking forward to when I saw the card, and they immediately show why- Shay gets the crowd on-board with dancing and athleticism, while Eugenie heels it up and mocks her in between kicking her ass with high impact- headbutts, boots and running sentons. She catches a Shay kick and hits a Samoan Drop for a near fall. Shay comes back with a sunset flip out of the corner, but Eugenie kicks out and boots her head off again.
Eugenie looks for another Samoan Drop, but Shay escapes and starts a comeback sequence, culminating in a back suplex for a near fall. She looks for Angel’s Wings but Eugenie reverses into a wicked DDT for a near fall. Soon after, Shay dodges an attack in the corner and takes the opportunity to hit a release German suplex, followed by Angel’s Wings... and that does it!
Winner: Shay Kassidy
Thoughts: Just as outstanding as I hoped it would be. These two seem to have great chemistry, this was intense, physical and a blast to watch. I haven’t seen nearly enough of Eugenie- seen her wrestle a few times, but for whatever reason it’s always been some kind of tag or multi-person match. Here, in straight up singles competition, an absolute weapon. Loved it.
Post-match, Shay takes the mic, but is interrupted by a Kathryn Nixon promo on the screen. The sound doesn’t work properly, but she looks mean. Then the lights go out, and a masked, hooded figure attacks Shay. Was that meant to be Nixon? Someone doing Nixon’s bidding? Weird... but intriguing.
Intermission.
Match 4: Infinity Championship- EC Brownie (c) vs. The Anomaly
Brownie takes the mic pre-match. Sounds a bit iffy, but I think the gist of it was, Brownie intends to defend the Infinity Championship the required 5 times so he can then cash in for a heavyweight title shot. The enigmatic Anomaly makes his entrance, to the delight of my friend Brooke, who loves the weirdos. He gallops/crawls around the ring and seems to scare the shit out of the little kids there. He comes across a bit animalistic.
Anomaly tries to chop down the larger man. The power of Brownie is absolutely an X-Factor though. Anomaly finds an opening and charges at him, hitting a wild cannonball in the corner for a near fall. On the kickout, Anomaly turns it into a Stretch Muffler! Crazy transition, and it’s convincing. Brownie escapes and goes back on the attack. Anomaly looks for a UFO slam, but Brownie escapes, and even on one leg, nails a devastating Spear. He’s going to need a little more here though, and finds it with the Black Hole Slam!
Winner: EC Brownie
Thoughts: Fun contrast of styles. A couple of messy moments, but funnily enough, that almost adds to Anomaly’s character work. He’s gotten so good so quickly. And Brownie is just a force. The kind of guy that can turn heads in a room, and backs it up in the ring with a devastating power game.
Match 5: Woodstock (Joe Waterfall Jr. & Halen Von Steele) vs. Mana & Manoush (Marley Peleti & El Phoenician)
My first time seeing Woodstock wrestle. Holy shit, Joe Waterfall... nothing Jr. About that dude, the guy is an absolute skyscraper! My mate Keanu points out that he’s so tall, at some point in the match, he bumped the overhead projector, knocking the screen on the stage out of alignment.
Good chemistry between Woodstock, hitting some double team moves and keeping Mana and Manoush on the back foot. Phoenician gets isolated for a bit before the hot tag to Peleti, who comes off the top with a double cross body. He goes for the 10 punches in the corner, but is shoved off and given the big boot by Waterfall. Woodstock set up for a double team, but Phoenician pushes Halen off the ropes, causing him to land headfirst in Joe’s balls. After a bit more back and forth, it seems like pure physicality might not be the key to victory, it’s speed and smarts, and Marley gets it with a victory roll for the win!
Winners: Mana & Manoush
Thoughts: After taking the L at IWA on Friday night, Mana & Manoush bounce back and return to their momentum building with a big win over a promising young team. I THINK Woodstock were meant to be heels, they did some heelish things, but a lot of the crowd loved them anyway. I guess we were in Mt. Druitt, a heel town if there ever was one, right?
Main Event: Integrity Heavyweight Championship- Jude “The Dude” London vs. Kai Drake (c)
Feeling out process in the early going, big fight feel as they test the range with kicks. Jude has a martial arts background, and if you’ve ever watched Kai Drake, you know he’s got an explosive kicking game.
The intensity builds with chops, kicks and elbows. Jude goes the submission route with an Octopus stretch, and incorporates the “na na na na, Hey Jude”. I reckon a good 75% of the audience are too young to know who The Beatles are. The fight spills to ringside and Jude hits a plancha. They briefly fight through the crowd and Kai launches himself off the wall at Jude. Back in the ring, a single leg dropkick gets the champ a near fall.
More chops, more kicks. These boys are starting to welt up BAD. Brainbuster by Kai gets a near fall, he follows up immediately with a penalty kick. Single leg Boston crab- a nice way to remind us that he has trained with Lance Storm. Jude makes the ropes but he’s hurting. Kai starts suplexing the smaller challenger, absolutely rag-dolling him. Jude reverses and hits a couple of his own, followed by a slingblade, and the pace picks right up.
We get seemingly a never-ending barrage of strikes. This becomes a battle of attrition with both men slow to even stand after heavy amounts of punishment. A straight elbow to the jaw gets Jude a near fall. He takes to the air with a springboard Stunner that LAUNCHES Kai. Near fall. He sets up for Excommunicado but Kai slumps down before he can hit it. Ref checks on Kai- match continues. Kai hits a Michinoku Driver outta nowhere- 1 count! Jude looks for another handspring- superkick interception, followed by a Tombstone... but Jude somehow kicks out! Kai sets up for something dangerous in the corner, but Jude shoves him off! Jude looks for the double stomp, but Kai rolls through into another single leg Boston crab! Insane torque this time- and Jude is forced to tap!
Winner: Kai Drake
Thoughts: We’re only in the first third of the year, but I think that has the potential to be one of Aussie wrestling’s matches of the year. That was absolutely incredible! They went balls to the wall in an absolute war. The bruises on their bodies post-match shows they held nothing back. That was so damn entertaining. They gave the fans everything they possibly could. What a ride!
Post-match, Kai offers a fist bump to Jude, who accepts. Kai then thanks the fans for coming while promising to continue being a fighting champion for Integrity.
Overall Thoughts
Whatever they’re paying the Velocities, they’re worth every cent and then some. Starting with Paris and ending with Jude, we had two of the best matches I’ve seen in a good while. Also, massive credit to Aaron Jake and Kai Drake, of course. The rest of the card ranged from very good to excellent. One of my favourite Aussie wrestling shows in a while, and Integrity are definitely on the way up, getting their best attendance to date. Highly recommend the entire show once it goes online! Don’t sleep on Integrity.
Overall Score: 9/10
Until next time, take care.
