UFC 268- Two Blockbuster Fights Set For Madison Square Garden Return

For the last few years, UFC have had an ongoing tradition of running November shows at Madison Square Garden. Due to being the World's Most Famous Arena, in New York City, they normally load the card with some marquee fights, and if the first two fights are any indication, it'll be a night of fights we never forget in the Garden.

Headlining the show is a rematch for the UFC Welterweight Championship between reigning kingpin Kamaru Usman and top contender Colby Covington. These two men first met at UFC 245 in December 2019, where Usman stopped Covington in the 5th round via TKO. They had bad blood then, and it's only intensified in the time since.

Per ESPN, the venue and a date have not been officially locked in, but the target is Nov 6 at MSG. They also reported a co-main event which has been verbally agreed to- Michael Chandler vs. Justin Gaethje. These two are near the top of the lightweight division rankings, and were considered two of the top fighters outside the UFC for much of their career, winning multiple championships in other organisations. Given the aggressive fight styles of both fighters, this is sure to be a display of unadulterated violence!
